[Vídeo] El Parc Rural de Montserrat fa passes endavant per esdevenir un referent a Europa

Redacció @elmonrural .- El Parc Rural de Montserrat fa passes endavant per convertir-se en un referent europeu en la promoció de la ruralitat. L’òrgan de gestió de l’espai acaba d’aprovar un Pla de Gestió propi a través del qual impulsar les activitats agroalimentàries, revitalitzar econòmicament el territori que envolta el massís i dotar-lo d’oportunitats de futur.

Concretament, el document contempla cinc línies estratègiques. Primer, a escala professional, el Pla de Gestió té l’objectiu d’impulsar la nova pagesia i l’emprenedoria, així com visibilitzar la ruralitat com una oportunitat. Després, es vol aconseguir la posada en valor del territori i el producte local; alhora que s’assegura la preservació del paisatge i la seva compatilització amb activitats econòmiques. Finalment, es pretén garantir la cooperació i el treball en xarxa entre agents públics i privats per tal de fomentar el coneixement i assolir els objectius comuns plantejats.

El projecte del Parc Rural del Montserrat arrenca l’any 2004 a iniciativa dels municipis de Collbató, Olesa de Montserrat, Esparreguera i el Bruc per impulsar l’activitat agroalimentària de les poblacions que envolten la muntanya de Montserrat. Avui dia, abraça dues vegueries, Catalunya Central i Regió metropolitana de Barcelona, quatre comarques Anoia, Baix Llobregat, Bages i Vallès Occidental, i prop de 20 municipis. En total ocupa una superfície de 347,9 Km², xifra que suposa el 4,5% del territori de la demarcació de Barcelona.
