Vallfogona de Ripollès s’uneix a la Setmana de la Pedra Seca oferint un taller pràctic d’aquesta tècnica

L'any passat es va fer una sortida de reconeixement de construccions de pedra seca acompanyats del mateix Montserrat i del fotògraf Pep Sau.

Amb el suport del Parc Natural de la Zona Volcànica de la Garrotxa, l’Ajuntament de Vallfogona de Ripollès organitza per segon any una activitat dins de la Setmana de la Pedra Seca. Es tracta d’un taller pràctic, obert a tot el públic, on sota la direcció de l’enginyer Joan Montserrat es referà un tros de paret seca al voltant de l’església de Sant Julià i el camí ral. Es recomana anar equipats amb guants i roba per treballar. L’any passat es va fer una sortida de reconeixement de construccions de pedra seca acompanyats del mateix Montserrat i del fotògraf Pep Sau.

Del 25 de novembre al 4 de desembre de 2022 se celebra la tercera edició de la Setmana de la Pedra Seca 2022. Enguany aplega un total de 118 propostes; una quarantena de sortides de descoberta, trenta opcions d’aprenentatge, construcció i voluntariat i prop de cinquanta accions de divulgació.

 

Entre els entitats organitzadores hi ha administracions públiques, biblioteques, museus, associacions culturals, centres excursionistes, denominacions d’origen o entitats que treballen pel món rural i per la defensa del medi ambient. Destaquen especialment les associacions i grups de defensa del patrimoni que treballen en diferents punts del territori per mantenir les construccions de pedra seca i donar a conèixer aquesta tècnica.

 

La 3a Setmana de la Pedra Seca coincideix amb el 4rt aniversari de la declaració d’aquesta tècnica com a Patrimoni Immaterial de la Humanitat per part de la UNESCO i omplirà el mapa d’activitats al voltant de la pedra seca a Catalunya, Illes Balears, Comunitat Valenciana, la Catalunya Nord i Andorra.
