Unió de Pagesos reclama que es declari l’emergència cinegètica a les zones “crítiques” de Girona

Segons el sindicat, la viabilitat d'algunes empreses està en risc, i per això es plantegen convocar mobilitzacions davant d'aquesta situació que consideren desesperant.

Unió de Pagesos torna a reclamar a la directora dels Serveis Territorials del Departament d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural a Girona, Elisabet Sánchez, que declari l’emergència cinegètica a les zones més afectades de les comarques gironines, és a dir, aquelles zones que superen els vuit porcs senglars per quilòmetre quadrat i pateixen els danys constants a causa d’aquests. Insten al Govern a aplicar totes les mesures disponibles ja que creuen que la situació és inacceptable i és una temeritat que amb les densitats de porcs senglars actuals encara no s’hagi “fet res al respecte”. Segons el sindicat, la viabilitat d’algunes empreses està en risc, i per això es plantegen convocar mobilitzacions davant d’aquesta situació desesperant.

El Govern va anunciar que activarà els mecanismes per combatre l’emergència cinegètica a principis de 2023, i què no es farà a nivell comarcal sinó que s’acotarà per municipis o massissos.

Unió de Pagesos reconeix que no és una situació fàcil de resoldre. Precisament per això, exigeix que s’hi destinin més recursos econòmics i humans, i totes les eines que hi ha a l’abast, especialment, “quan el més calent és a l’aigüera pel que fa a la promesa llei catalana de caça”. El sindicat considera que no es pot “delegar” la gestió de la sobrepoblació de la fauna exclusivament en els caçadors —cada cop són menys i no són professionals—, i que el Govern ha de ser “diligent i agafar, d’una vegada per totes, les regnes de la situació”. Una situació que, segons el sindicat, ja es pot qualificar de plaga.

Afirmen que és la pagesia qui està assumit les conseqüències “d’aquest problema de país, assumint els danys, realitzant inversions, fent canvis de cultiu o, fins i tot, deixant erms els camps perquè, en alguns llocs, ja no surt a compte treballar la terra”.
