Territori es compromet a “minimitzar” la problemàtica ocasionada per les inundacions als pobles del Baix Ter

El Departament de Territori i Sostenibilitat s’ha compromès a “minimitzar” la problemàtica ocasionada per les inundacions als pobles del Baix Ter. Aquest va ser el missatge que va traslladar el conseller Damià Calvet als representants municipals en la darrera reunió tècnica, on se li va fer arribar un informe on es detallen els diferents episodis d’inundació i la proposta de les principals actuacions de millora i gestió d’aquestes infraestructures. La trobada es va realitzar en resposta a la petició feta el passat mes d’abril per la Junta Central d’Usuaris d’Aigües del Baix Ter (JCUABT). L’alcalde de Torroella de Montgrí (Baix Empordà), Jordi Colomí, ha valorat positivament la reunió, així com la “predisposició” de les entitats implicades.

Les poblacions del Baix Ter han fet un pas més cap a la resolució dels problemes derivats de les inundacions. Si fa uns mesos es va elaborar un Pla Integral d’Actuacions, des del passat dissabte el document ja es troba en mans de la Generalitat que ha assegurat donar “una resposta consensuada” amb el territori com més aviat millor. Tot plegat després d’una trobada tècnica a Canet de la Tallada (Baix Empordà) on el conseller Damià Calvet es va reunir amb representants de la Junta Central d’Aigües del Baix Ter, així com diferents alcaldes i alcaldesses de la mateixa zona. Calvet anava acompanyat de la secretaria de Medi Ambient, Marta Subirà, del director de l’ACA, Lluís Ridao, i de la gerent de l’ACA, Anna Seijas.

Durant la reunió, la junta va lliurar-li un informe en el que es detallen els diferents episodis d’inundació patits darrerament i la proposta de les principals actuacions de millora i gestió de les infraestructures que les podrien evitar. Aquest pla s’estructura en sis bloc d’actuacions elaborades des del coneixement del territori. Unes directrius que segons els representants municipals, “podrien resoldre amb immediatesa” la problemàtica i “servir de base” per a una correcta adaptació del Baix Ter als reptes que comporta el canvi climàtic.

Als blocs hi consten, doncs, les actuacions en els trams de carreteres del Baix Ter que queden tallades per acumulació d’aigua, diferents treballs de prevenció i millora de la gestió de les avingudes dels rius Ter i Daró, o bé les actuacions de millora de les infraestructures de drenatge de la plana agrícola. També es contemplen les millores de gestió de les emergències hídriques al territori i dels embassaments. Finalment hi consten les compensacions als particulars afectats en el darrer episodi de pluja.

Millores a la xarxa de carreteres

A la trobada també es va tractar el pla de millora que està executant la Generalitat per resoldre la deficiència i inseguretat de la xarxa de carreteres del Baix Ter. Com a novetat, a totes les actuacions ja planificades, la Junta Central va demanar incloure el tram entre Verges i Torroella de Montgrí, que en el terme d’Ullà pateix inundacions amb molta facilitat que obliguen a tallar la circulació. També van insistir en la necessitat de “no demorar més” l’execució de les obres, que consideren que ja porten “molt retard en relació amb els compromisos adoptats”.

“Ferms” en la defensa del territori

El president de la JCUABT, Jordi Colomí, va aprofitar la reunió per agrair la resposta donada per l’ACA arran dels temporals Gloria i el que va colpejar la zona coincidint amb la Diada de Sant Jordi, però també va recordar que l’ens “serà molt ferm” en la defensa del territori davant del què considera una “situació insostenible”. I és que, segons els representants municipals, les inundacions no només afecten les activitats econòmiques sinó també “la seguretat de les persones”.

Colomí va subratllar que l’aigua ha estat històricament un dels elements vertebradors i generadors de riquesa del Baix Ter, però que cal una gestió “integral i decidida” per posar fi a les inundacions recurrents.
