334.240 euros per lluitar contra el caragol poma. El Govern ha aprovat al Consell Executiu una nova línia de crèdit destinada a combatre aquesta espècie invasora i garantir la preservació de la biodiversitat al Delta de l’Ebre. Concretament, l’ajuda es destinarà a les comunitats de regants de la zona, organitzacions ambientalistes, agrupacions de productors, administracions públiques i centres de recerca.

El caragol poma està considerat com una de les 100 espècies invasores més perjudicials del món i, concretament, ha causat estralls als cultius de zones humides, sobretot en arrossars.
