Presentaran els vestits de paper per a ser declarats Patrimoni Immaterial de la Humanitat per la Unesco

Mollerussa, Porto, Güeñes i Amposta s'uniràn per a articular i redactar una candidatura conjunta.

L’Ajuntament de Mollerussa aprofitarà la celebració del 58è Concurs de Vestits de Paper per unir-se amb Porto (Portugal), Güeñes (Pais Basc) i Amposta (Catalunya) per a articular i redactar una candidatura conjunta per a què els vestits de paper siguin reconeguts per la Unesco com a Patrimoni immaterial de la Humanitat. Marc Solsona, l’alcalde de Mollerussa, ho ha explicat aquest dimecres durant la inauguració de l’exposició urbana de dotze vestits de paper que lluiran fins al pròxim 12 de gener en places i carrers del centre urbà a l’interior de vitrines de vidre il·luminades per tercer any consecutiu.

Ja tenen prevista una reunió de treball entre els representants de les quatre ciutats que participaran a la candidatura, on posaran les bases de treball. Segons Solsona, l’aprovació d’aquesta candidatura serà un “salt de qualitat i de projecció de futur” per Mollerussa i el seu patrimoni cultural.

Pel que fa a la mostra urbana, ha quedat inaugurada amb una visita guiada per part de la responsable del Museu de Vestits de Paper, Mireia Caba, en la qual han participat membres de la corporació. Solsona ha dit que amb aquesta mostra es vol convida a la ciutadania i també a tothom que vulgui, a conèixer de prop aquest patrimoni cultural i artístic de la ciutat, que aquest dissabte tindrà la seva festa gran amb la celebració del Concurs de Vestits de Paper.

Les vitrines, que inclouen vestits de les categories d’Època, Fantasia i Moda Actual, tindran un recorregut urbà que passarà per la plaça de l’Ajuntament, la plaça de Manuel Bertrand, la plaça Major i la plaça del Pla d’Urgell així també el carrer de la Vilaclosa i el carrer de Ferrer i Busquets, just davant de l’edifici de Serveis Socials i que servirà de reclam que es podrà veure al pas per l’antiga N-II. Les peces escollides són vestits que han estat premiats en el marc de les diferents edicions del concurs i són una mostra representativa de les modistes que han participat al llarg d’aquests anys.
