La web tastethealtitude.com divulga aquesta oferta i les històries, els valors i la feina de les persones que aconsegueixen donar vida a productes singulars en territoris d’altitud, per connectar-hi i conscienciar sobre la importància i l’impacte de les nostres accions individuals i eleccions a l’hora de consumir.

Taste the Altitude en vol explicar l’origen i l’essència, donar veu, en primera persona, als seus protagonistes i facilita les dades dels productors per a que, qui ho desitgi, s’hi posi en contacte directament (al final de cada article figura la fitxa amb aquesta informació).

Així, per exemple, la plataforma ja ha dedicat entrevistes i seccions a les comarques de l’Alt Urgell, la Cerdanya, l’Alta Ribagorça, el Pallars Jussà, el Pallars Sobirà així com el Berguedà, el Solsonès o el Ripollès arribant també a Osca i l’Alta Cerdanya.

Històries, experiències i propostes

A la pàgina web, així com a través d’Instagram https://www.instagram.com/tastethealtitude/ i Facebook (@tastethealtitude) s’exposen més de trenta històries de productors que ens expliquen la singularitat i l’essència de les seves iniciatives marcades per la recerca de l’equilibri entre l’activitat humana i el medi natural. Amb el seu esforç, entusiasme i tenacitat, obtenen productes de gran qualitat, seguint mètodes artesans i tradicionals, respectant el seu entorn.

També s’hi inclou una agenda d’activitats i experiències, així com d’altres projectes i iniciatives que tenen lloc en zones d’altura, per tal de divulgar la cultura i les particularitats d’aquests territoris: propostes de dinamització, rutes culturals i turístiques, literatura, cinema, pintura i escultura, museus, tradicions, formació, medi ambient…

L’objectiu és divulgar coneixement sobre tot allò que neix i es crea a la muntanya i de les persones que ho fan possible, per contribuir a un canvi: tant pel que fa als hàbits de consum —amb la valorització d’aquests productes amb ànima i de qualitat— que contribueixin no només a una millora del propi benestar, sinó al mateix temps a una transformació de l’actual model social i productiu, amb vista a un model més equilibrat, amb la dinamització d’uns territoris on encara avui en dia les condicions de vida són difícils però que són ben vius.

Així, fa visible i descobreix en profunditat i amb total transparència com petites empreses, productors, artesans i artistes, en general poc coneguts fora de la seva zona, tiren endavant amb grans dosis d’esforç i perseverança, i també passió i entusiasme. Explica el dia a dia d’aquestes persones que han fixat el seu projecte de vida en un territori de muntanya i com darrere de cadascun d’aquests productes (gastronòmics, cosmètics, d’artesania, tèxtils, creacions artístiques…) i de cada servei (d’oci, cultural…) hi ha una història de superació i uns valors que mereixen ésser divulgats. Aquest coneixement, que permet un major apropament a la muntanya des d’altres àmbits,  afavoreix un consum més conscient i crea vincles amb els productors, ja que permet connectar-hi directament, sense intermediaris, un fet cada cop més valorat en la nostra societat.
