Monistrol reivindica el seu paper al món de la guitarra

Monistrol de Montserrat reivindicarà el seu paper al món de la guitarra amb un festival musical. El municipi Bagenc vol homenatjar Joan Carles i Amat (1572-1642), autor del primer tractat de guitarra conegut a Europa, amb un certament internacional dedicat a aquest instrument. Amat, qui nasqué al municipi, “va ser un referent reconegut arreu del món”, segons recorda Joan Puigdellívol, responsable del projecte. Tot i que el festival, que impulsa l’Ajuntament de Monistrol, encara es troba en fase molt embrionària, el 5 de maig es podrà viure un primer tast a través d’un itinerari musical que combinarà la seva vida i obra amb la guitarra.

Sota el títol Un món de guitarres, es recorreran diferents racons emblemàtics del municipi amb el músic Sergi Boal qui, amb la guitarra acústica electrificada oferirà un concert amb músiques d’avui a cavall entre la fusió d’estils, la improvisació i les tecnologies electròniques; Maike Burgdorf i Joan Duran, que combinaran música antiga amb el llaüt i poesia nova; el duo de guitarra clàssica format per Albert Lavall i Emília Garcia, que fusionaran tradició clàssica i modernitat popular; i Carles Blanch que, amb viola de mà, guitarra de cinc ordres i acompanyat de la mezzosoprano Paula Caminals, interpretarà les músiques de l’època d’Amat. Durant l’itinerari els assistents també podran conèixer una mica més de la vida i l’obra de l’homenatjat i, en paral·lel, es llegiran alguns dels seus cèlebres Quatre-Cents Aforismes Catalans.

El festival de guitarres és un pas més de l’Ajuntament de Montserrat per dignificar la figura del músic. El març de 2015 va inaugurar una nova sala polivalent amb el seu nom. Prèviament, el 2014, es va publicar el llibre L’empremta del monistrolenc Joan Carles Amat, un estudi elaborat per quatre estudiosos de la vida i obra del monistrolenc.
