Les campanes de l’església Santa Maria del Turers de Banyoles tornaran a sonar de nit entre avui i demà

Les campanes de l’església de Santa Maria dels Turers de Banyoles tornaran a sonar entre avui i demà durant la nit. Així ho ha anunciat l’alcalde del municipi, Miquel Noguer, qui ha garantit que porten dies treballant perquè les campanes tornin a repicar durant la nit. El conflicte va sorgir a finals de juliol, quan el propietari d’un conjunt d’apartaments turístics va queixar-se pel so que feien durant la nit i el rector va decidir que no tornessin a sonar per evitar processos judicials. L’Ajuntament ha detallat que no sap si sonaran en una intensitat menor o no, però sí que ha avançat que estan estudiant si cal aprovar una ordenança per protegir-ne el so o ja hi ha prou cobertura legal amb les normatives catalanes actuals.

Els veïns de Banyoles tornaran a sentir el repic de campanes de l’església de Santa Maria dels Turers durant tota la nit com a molt tard aquest dijous. L’Ajuntament de Banyoles ha confirmat que el rector de la parròquia ha decidit recuperar el toc de les campanes després de deu dies que s’aturessin.

L’alcalde del municipi, Miquel Noguer, ha assegurat que tornaran a sonar però desconeix si la parròquia en reduirà la intensitat o no. Malgrat tot, Noguer celebra que “tot torni a la normalitat”. L’alcalde ha assegurat que durant aquests dies ha estat fent d’intermediari entre el rector i el propietari que es queixava per les molèsties que ocasionava el so.

 

El conflicte va començar arran de la queixa d’un veí que tenia apartaments turístics i un familiar amb una malaltia. Segons ha detallat l’Ajuntament, l’home deia que el repic de campanes durant la nit no permetia que els hostes descansessin i també despertaven el familiar malalt. Per això havia demanat que paressin de sonar durant les nits d’estiu.

 

El rector de la parròquia va optar per aturar el repic abans que el conflicte entrés a una via judicial. L’alcalde de Banyoles ha defensat aquest dimecres que durant tots aquests dies ha estat treballant perquè “les campanes sonin les 24 hores del dia el set dies de la setmana”. Ara sembla haver aconseguit aquesta fita.

 

Per evitar una sentència judicial que obligui al rector a pagar una sanció per les molèsties ocasionades, l’Ajuntament està estudiant si cal aprovar alguna normativa local per “protegir” el repic de campanes. Segons Noguer, la legislació vigent catalana ja dona una cobertura legal “alta” a l’interès cultural que implica el repic de les campanes.

 

Tot i així, no descarta declarar-lo com a Bé Cultural d’Interès Local (BCIL) o elaborar la normativa pertinent per garantir el repic de campanes durant tota la nit. Per altra banda, Miquel Noguer ha avançat que donaran “tot el suport jurídic pertinent” en cas en què el conflicte acabi als jutjats.
