L’alcalde de Salou veu el projecte Hard Rock com a paral·litzat per culpa del “retard” del PDU

Fonts del Departament de Territori i Sostenibilitat han desmentit els “rumors” i han apuntat que la tramitació del PDU continua endavant, a l’espera dels informes sectorials.

L’alcalde de Salou, Pere Granados, ha donat per paralitzat el projecte de Hard Rock en la sessió plenària d’aquest dimecres. El batlle ha explicat que fonts oficials li han comunicat que els inversors han aturat les accions arran del “retard” en la tramitació del Pla Director Urbanístic (PDU) del Consorci Recreatiu i Turístic (CRT). Per això, ha exigit al Govern que el defensi: “Que s’aprovi el Pla Director. Si ara està paralitzada l’acció, això significarà que, possiblement, en un futur es puguin retirar els inversors i això seria una nefasta notícia per a tothom”. Fonts del Departament de Territori i Sostenibilitat han desmentit els “rumors” i han apuntat que la tramitació del PDU continua endavant, a l’espera dels informes sectorials.

Granados ha reiterat que el projecte és “bo per a Salou, la Costa Daurada i per Catalunya”, ja que, sosté, representarà la creació de “molts llocs de treball” i contribuirà a la desestacionalització turística. A més, l’alcalde ha demanat una reunió urgent del CRT i una altra amb els inversors per tal de “traslladar-los tranquil·litat”. “Catalunya no pot perdre una inversió d’aquesta magnitud, estem parlant d’un projecte de 2.000 milions d’euros”, ha insistit.

A principis d’aquest novembre, en el marc d’una interpel·lació de la CUP al ple del Parlament, el conseller de Territori, Juli Fernández, va explicar que hi ha disset informes sectorials favorables i que el projecte no s’aprovarà definitivament fins que no es tinguin el conjunt d’avals sectorials. Ho va dir després de l’informe del Departament d’Acció Climàtica que assenyala incompliments dels requisits mediambientals en el macroprojecte de Vila-seca i Salou.
