L’ACA crearà una nova estació de mesura d’aigua al riu Freser, Ripoll, amb més de 600.000 euros

L’Agència Catalana de l’Aigua (ACA) destinarà més de 600.000 euros en habilitar una estació d’aforament al riu Freser. La nova instal•lació, que és la primera que tindrà aquest riu, permetrà mesurar de manera precisa l’aigua que porta, tant en situació ordinària com en períodes d’avinguda. La nova estació s’ubicarà en el tram situat aigua avall de la confluència amb el riu Merdàs, dins el terme municipal de Ripoll, en una zona amb poc impacte ambiental i sense infraestructures importants a prop. El projecte ja ha estat posat a informació pública i es podrà consultar fins el 5 de desembre, tant de manera presencial a les seus de l’ACA i l’Ajuntament de Ripoll, així com també per via telemàtica.

Els treballs previstos es duran a terme en el tram del riu Freser, a l’alçada de la fàbrica Soler i Palau. S’ha escollit aquesta ubicació perquè es considera que és un sector més encaixat i amb capacitat per a un cabal d’un període de retorn de 500 anys, amb un menor impacte ambiental i menys visibilitat, i sense infraestructures importants a prop.

 

L’actuació que es durà a terme inclou l’execució de la pròpia estació d’aforament en el riu (amb dos sensors), una caseta de mesura i comunicacions a peu de coronació del talús del riu i les escales de comunicació entre la caseta i l’estació. També, en el marc de l’actuació, es contempla el condicionament d’un punt de control del canal de Can Noguera, situat a uns 65 metres aigües avall de l’emplaçament de l’estació d’aforament.
