La DO Costers del Segre organitza el seu primer concurs de tast amb 27 cellers participants

Els guanyadors es faran publics en un acte de lliurament de premis al Cafè del Teatre de l'Escorxador de Lleida aquest dijous, dia 1 de desembre.

Fins a 27 cellers han presentat més d’un centenar de vins al Primer Concurs dels vins de la Denominació d’Origen Costers del Segre que organitza el seu Consell Regulador amb el suport del Patronat de Promoció Econòmica de la Diputació de Lleida i la coordinació tècnica dels Premis Vinari. El director dels premis Vinari, Ramon Roset, ha destacat “l’alta participació d’aquesta primera convocatòria amb pràcticament mostres de tots els cellers Costers del Segre”. L’aula taller de la Seu Vella ha acollit el tast del jurat d’aquest format per una vintena de sommeliers. Els guanyadors es faran publics en un acte de lliurament de premis al Cafè del Teatre de l’Escorxador de Lleida aquest dijous, dia 1 de desembre.

Per la seva banda el president de la denominació, Tomàs Cusiné, ha comentat que “els principals objectius de l’activitat són la promoció dels vins locals i l’incentiu qualitatiu”.

 

Els professionals que han format part del jurat han estat: Bruno Tanino, Enric Català, Assumpta Mateos, Joan Nievas, Carles Bargalló, Javier Campo, Gregori Albareda, Juanjo Cerezuela, Jordi Martinez, Laila Balcells, Pol Alaminos, Ester Rocaginé, Olga Codina, Rodrigo Cebrián, Gonzalo Ferreruela, Rafa Gimena, Ramon Griño, Xavier Navarro, Lina Kyrychenko, i Noe Sans.

 

El concurs premiarà primer, segon i tercer classificats en les categories: Blancs Joves, Blancs Criança, Rosats, Negres Joves, Negres Criança, i Escumosos. Així com es distingirà el millor monovarietal de raïm Macabeu; i el vi amb major puntuació de totes les categories com a Millor Vi DO Costers del Segre.

 

En darrer lloc, també es reconeixerà una persona o entitat que hagi destacat pels valors de Sostenibilitat i Respecte Mediambiental.
