Jordà i Cambray han lliurat els 78 nous distintius als centres educatius de la Xarxa d’Escoles Verdes

Amb aquests, ja són 923 els centres educatius que tenen aquest distintiu.

La consellera d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural, Teresa Jordà i Roura, i el conseller d’Educació, Josep Gonzàlez-Cambray, han lliurat aquest dissabte els distintius dels nous centres educatius que s’han afegit a la Xarxa d’Escoles Verdes. Enguany, han rebut aquest distintiu un total de 78 centres de les comarques de l’Alt Camp, l’Alt Empordà, l’Alta Ribagorça, l’Anoia, el Bages, el Baix Camp, el Baix Ebre, el Baix Empordà, el Baix Llobregat, el Baix Penedès, el Barcelonès, la Conca de Barberà, el Garraf, el Gironès, la Garrotxa i el Maresme.

Amb la incorporació d’aquests centres, ja són 923 els centres educatius que tenen el distintiu d’Escoles Verdes.

 

El Programa Escoles Verdes sorgeix com un compromís per donar suport a tots els centres educatius de Catalunya que volen innovar, incloure, avançar, sistematitzar i organitzar accions educatives que tinguin la finalitat de fer front, des de l’educació, als nous reptes i valors de la sostenibilitat. Per obtenir el distintiu, el centres han d’haver impartit la formació corresponent i disposar d’un Pla d’educació per a la sostenibilitat.

 

La consellera d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural ha destacat el paper clau de l’educació ambiental i la tasca que la Xarxa d’Escoles Verdes realitza per transmetre els valors de la cultura de la sostenibilitat. “Perquè és a les escoles on comencen a educar-se les futures generacions, on es capaciten i s’apoderen els infants i joves, i perquè és en l’àmbit local on el valor exemplificador de les comunitats escolars que participen en el Programa Escoles Verdes assoleix visibilitat social i esdevé un referent per a tothom”, ha dit Teresa Jordà.

 

Per la seva banda, el conseller d’Educació ha manifestat que “és a l’escola i és gràcies a la tasca dels docents que els infants adquireixen aquest compromís de respecte envers la terra. És gràcies a aquesta tasca docent que els nois i noies prenen consciència que cada gest, cada decisió que prenem en el dia a dia, té un impacte social i un impacte sobre el planeta. L’educació per a la sostenibilitat és compromís personal i solidaritat amb l’entorn, és actuar per al bé comú”.

Premis a les millors iniciatives

En el decurs de l’acte, que després de dos anys de pandèmia ha pogut tenir lloc de nou de manera presencial, també s’han lliurat els Premis Escoles Verdes 2022 a les millors iniciatives d’educació per a la sostenibilitat desenvolupades pels centres que tenen el Distintiu d’Escoles Verdes.

 

En aquesta edició, han estat guardonats en les diferents categories:

  • En la categoria de trajectòria de millora continuada en el procés d’ambientalització integral del centre, la guardonada ha estat a l’Escola d’Olvan, al Berguedà.
  • En la categoria de treball en xarxa realitzat conjuntament amb altres agents del territori per a la millora ambiental dels diferents centres que participen en el projecte i del seu entorn, s’ha atorgat el guardó a totes les escoles verdes de Valls pel Projecte Torrents.
  • En la categoria d’actuació singular, ha estat premiada l’Escola Sant Llàtzer de Tortosa (Baix Ebre) pel projecte Construint relats.

 

També han rebut una menció honorífica l’Escola Bressol Llar de Colors, dels Pallaresos, en la categoria de trajectòria de millora continuada; l’Institut de Tecnificació d’Amposta per l’actuació L’ecomercat de l’ITEC, en la categoria de treball en xarxa, i el projecte Fondarella amb els ODS de l’Escola Minyons d’Urgell de Fondarella, en la categoria d’actuació singular.
