L’exili de la guerra civil arriba l’Eurocambra gràcies a un grup d’escolars

L’exili de la guerra civil arriba al Parlament europeu de la mà dels alumnes de l’Institut Vall de Llémena de Sant Gregori. Els joves gironins han presentat a l’Eurocambra el documental Escaping War, que han dut a terme conjuntament amb estudiants del centre NMS/VBS In der Krim de Viena, Àustria. A través d’aquesta peça, els escolars de les dues escoles han establer un paral·lelisme amb les persones que s’han vist obligades a fugir de Síria arran de la guerra, abordant qüestions com l’abandonament de la família, la llar, els amics, la por a les represàlies, la duresa del viatge..

Gràcies a aquest exercici, els alumnes reflexionen sobre el drama dels nois i noies refugiats sirians i també sobre el passat dels seus avis i besavis, que van viure una situació molt semblant durant la guerra civil. A més a més, alguns dels alumnes del centre austríac són joves que han hagut d’exiliar-se a causa de la guerra a Síria, a qui han entrevistat per conèixer les seves experiències. Alhora, han reunit els testimonis d’avis que van viure el final de la Guerra Civil i han realitzat visites als camps de concentració del sud de França i el pas a través de la frontera per on van fugir els republicans, a Lli.

El documental s’ha presentat al Parlament europeu en el marc de la commemoració del 80è aniversari de la fi de la guerra civil, el 1939. El projecte està finançat per la Unió Europea i té una durada de 3 anys escolars. D’aquesta manera, els estudiants de les dues escoles han pogut conèixer les guerres civils sirianes i espanyoles. A banda, s’han format per narrar i rodar el documental i durant aquest temps s’ha dut a terme la mobilitat tant a un com altre país, a través de la beca Erasmus+.
