Endesa adapta 15 suports de línies elèctriques per protegir els ocells a la Catalunya Central

Endesa ha instal·lat 15 dispositius aïllants i de protecció a diversos suports de línies de mitjana i alta tensió de la Catalunya Central amb l’objectiu de reduir el risc elèctric per als ocells en el moment en què alcen el vol després de reposar a les torres elèctriques. Els suports es troben distribuïts a les comarques d’Osona, el Bages, l’Anoia i el Moianès, en punts detectats com a especialment sensibles. La instal·lació, que ha tingut un cost de 26.000, permetrà alhora millora la qualitat del servei, ja que evitarà les interrupcions.
Els dispositius s’han instal·lat a Manlleu, Muntanyola, Olost, Orís, Vic, Manresa, Sant Salvador de Guardiola, Veciana i Santa Maria d’Oló. Consisteix en la instal·lació de fundes protectores en grapes, ponts fluxos i d’altres elements conductors del suport. Aquests dispositius aïllants redueixen el risc elèctric en el moment en què una au que reposa en una torre aixeca el vol, ja que en estendre les ales hi pot haver contacte amb un cable i produir-se un arc elèctric.

Així mateix, en alguns casos, s’hi han instal·lat uns elements anomenats “salva ocells”, que consisteixen en unes balises que eviten que les aus s’hi apropin, així com elements anticol·lisió, en el cas de les línies d’alta tensió.

A banda de reduir el risc per les aus, evitant el contacte s’eviten les interrupcions del servei. Segons la companyia, amb els suports instal·lats hi ha un total d’11 línies que se’n veuran beneficiades o, el que és el mateix, 37.532 clients repartits entre 38 municipis de les comarques de l’Anoia, el Bages, el Moianès i Osona.
