El Seprona troba 34 animals de diverses espècies protegides en un recinte privat de Deltebre

En concret es van trobar diverses espècies d'aus (cotorres i periquitos exòtics), ànecs 'tarro blanco' o tortugues 'mores'.

El Servei de Protecció de la Naturalesa de la Guàrdia Civil (SEPRONA) ha intervingut 34 animals de diverses espècies protegides en un recinte privat de Deltebre, segons ha informat el cos en un comunicat. Aquest és el resultat d’una inspecció que va tenir lloc el 15 de novembre. En concret es van trobar diverses espècies d’aus (cotorres i periquitos exòtics), ànecs ‘tarro blanco’ o tortugues ‘mores’. El propietari no va poder acreditar la seva tinença legal ni la traçabilitat de tots els animals, motiu pel qual es van intervenir els 34 animals i s’investiga l’home per un delicte relatiu a la protecció de la fauna. Es va observar que els ànecs havien estat mutilats a les ales.

Els animals autòctons es van traslladar a l’estació biològica del Canal Vell, adscrita al Parc Natural del Delta de l’Ebre per a la seva recuperació i reintroducció en el medi. En canvi, els animals inclosos en la categoria de fauna silvestre van quedar sota la cura provisional del seu propietari, comunicant el fet a l’òrgan corresponent del Ministeri per a la Transició Ecològica.
