Comencen les obres d’adequació del camí de ronda impulsades pel Port de Tarragona

El Port de Tarragona ha començat aquesta setmana les obres d’adequació del camí de ronda de la zona del Cap Salou. L’actuació millorarà més d’un quilòmetre d’itinerari del litoral de la Costa Daurada. Els treballs consisteixen en l’enderroc de tanques o murs degradats pel pas de temps, els quals es reemplaçaran en les pròximes setmanes. L’Autoritat Portuària hi ha destinat 86.000 euros i les obres s’executaran en un termini de dos mesos. Amb aquesta inversió, es vol realçar un espai natural propietat del port i fer més segures les passejades pel camí de ronda, des del punt de la Bateria de La Talaia, vestigi de la Guerra Civil, a prop del carrer Glorieta del Cap de Salou fins al carrer del Vaporet, al límit amb la Pineda, a Vila-seca.

Les obres d’adequació del camí de Ronda es faran, principalment, en tres zones del Cap de Salou. En el primer tram, el més proper a l’interior del Cap Salou, es col·locarà una barana de fusta per habilitar dos miradors i s’instal·laran cartells d’advertència de perill de caiguda en punts concrets propers al penya-segat.

 

En el segon tram, en el pas per la zona alta de l’antic front de voladura de la pedrera, es reforçaran diversos punts que puguin representar perill i també es col·locaran trams de barana de fusta en cinc punts del recorregut. Un cop passada la zona de la pedrera, es condicionarà un nou camí. El nou pas es tancarà lateralment amb una tanca paral·lela seguint el límit que marca el vial destinat al pas de vehicles de servei del port.

 

Finalment, s’obrirà un accés públic a la tanca ja existent a l’inici del camí al carrer del Vaporet (Salou) que es protegirà amb pilones per tal que els vehicles no puguin aparcar-hi.
