Calafell recull en un sol cap de setmana dotze tones de brossa fora dels contenidors

L’Ajuntament de Calafell ha recollit en un cap de setmana un total de dotze tones de brossa llençada fora dels contenidors. Entre les deixalles hi ha, especialment, restes de poda, matalassos, electrodomèstics i mobles. El consistori lamenta que cada estiu es multiplica el volum de brossa llençada fora de lloc coincidint amb l’arribada dels veïns de segones residències, i ha advertit que actuarà amb “mà dura” per evitar-ho. El govern diu que reforçarà els vigilants d’inspecció i perseguirà els infractors per multar-los. Fa dos anys, el consistori va començar a aplicar sancions de 750 euros als qui llencessin la brossa fora dels contenidors. Durant el primer any de la mesura es van obrir 24 expedients.
L’Ajuntament recorda que té un servei de recollida gratuïta de mobles vells, prèvia demanda, que pot concertar-se a través de la Línia Verda. Si no es concerta, i aquests residus es deixen al carrer, el servei en fa la recollida però “s’acaba desbordant”, lamenta el govern municipal, que subratlla que a l’estiu es quadruplica la població habitual del municipi.
