Banyoles crea una ruta turística al voltant del rec Major per atraure visitants de l’estany al nucli antic

Pla general de la guia turística explicant a alguns dels regidors i autoritats de l'Ajuntament de Banyoles davant de Cal Nocaire, un dels punts de la ruta de Rec Major el 9 de juny de 2021. (Horitzontal)

L’Ajuntament de Banyoles ha creat una ruta turística que ressegueix el recorregut del rec Major amb l’objectiu d’aconseguir que alguns dels visitants que van a l’estany arribin al nucli antic a peu. El recorregut comença precisament a l’estany i explica alguns dels usos que tenien el rec en el passat, així com també part del patrimoni que hi ha. A través d’aquesta ruta, els visitants poden arribar a la plaça Major, on hi ha bona part del teixit comercial. La ruta segueix per alguns dels nous espais verds com ara Cal Nocaire i finalment acaba al barri de la Farga. Hi haurà onze plafons que marcaran el recorregut i una vegada al mes es podrà fer una visita guiada gratuïta.
