Augmenta la preferència per als productes locals i la compra en botigues de proximitat amb la covid-19

La covid-19 ha augmentat la preferència per als productes locals, les botigues de proximitat i els aliments duradors, i també ha fet que els consumidors siguin més sensibles amb el preu. També s’ha notat un increment de la freqüència a l’hora d’anar a comprar, de la despesa en la compra i una tendència a un major emmagatzematge d’aliments. El consum alimentari s’ha mantingut relativament estable tot i que ha crescut lleugerament en productes com ara la fruita i les verdures. D’altra banda, també s’ha reduït el malbaratament d’aliments, especialment d’aquests dos productes. Així es desprèn de l’estudi sobre l’impacte de la covid-19 en els hàbits alimentaris encarregat pel Departament d’Agricultura i que ha realitzat el CREDA-UPC-IRTA.
