L’Anoia vol recuperar i fa valer el consum i producció de males herbes. El Consell Comarcal de l’Anoia publicarà Espècies silvestres comestibles a l’Anoia, de Marc Talavera, un llibret que té l’objectiu d’incorporar a la dieta les plantes salvatges que tradicionalment s’han consumit a la comarca. El projecte, que posa el focus en la informació científica i l’experiència de les persones més grans de la comarca, sorgeix d’un estudi etnobotànic realitzat entre el 2014 i el 2017, el qual ha permès identificar 64 espècies que eren habituals a les cuines anoienques.

Amb tot, ara com ara, segons Talavera, aquestes plantes són cada cop més difícils d’adquirir i cada vegada hi ha menys persones que sàpiguen com identificar-les i consumir-les. En conseqüència, és important promocionar-ne tant el seu ús com a ingredients a la cuina, com la seva producció, ja que ajuden a la “diversificació de l’agricultura i al manteniment dels paisatges”.

Espècies silvestres comestibles, que ha comptat amb el suport de la Diputació de Barcelona, a l’Anoia es presentarà en el marc de la IV Jornada Gastronòmica de les Plantes Oblidades d’Igualada. El congrés busca informar sobre les plantes anomenades popularment “males herbes” i mostrar els diversos usos i aplicacions que tenen aquestes espècies silvestres en diferents àmbits, inclosa la cuina.
