Amadeu Ross, reelegit president de la Comunitat de Regants dels Canals d’Urgell amb el 78% dels vots

Ross s'ha mostrat satisfet amb el resultat, i ha celebrat la confiança atorgada pels votants en la seva persona.

Aquest diumenge 18 de desembre s’han celebrat les eleccions de la Comunitat General de Regants dels Canals d’Urgell (CGRCU), on es presentaven el què ha estat el president fins ara, Amadeu Ross, i Robert Simó. Ross s’ha proclamat com a guanyador d’aquestes eleccions amb els vots de 59.000 hectàrees de les 78.307 que té el canal i, per tant, mantindrà el seu mandat durant quatre anys més. La comissió electoral ha decidit no acabar el recompte, atès que el resultat ja era clar.

Amadeu Ross s’ha mostrat satisfet amb el resultat, i ha celebrat la confiança atorgada pels votants en la seva persona “amb una majoria tan àmplia que evidencia d’una manera clara que hem de seguir treballant per la modernització de la principal infraestructura hidràulica de Catalunya, projecte que vam iniciar ara fa quatre anys i que ja no pot esperar més” i ha demanat “celeritat a totes les administracions perquè això sigui possible sense dilacions”.
