Acció climàtica signa un protocol per incrementar la seguretat en les batudes de caça

El Departament d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural ha acordat amb la Diputació de Barcelona i la Representació Territorial a Barcelona de la Federació Catalana de Caça signar un protocol que implementarà una sèrie de mesures per incrementar la seguretat en les batudes de caça que es realitzin en 11 espais naturals protegits de les comarques de Barcelona i la Catalunya Central. L’objectiu final és que les batudes siguin més segures tant per a les persones caçadores com per a la resta d’usuaris, i la idea és més endavant replicar aquestes mesures a altres batudes que es facin en espais protegits però també en aquells que no ho siguin.

Aquest acord inclou una sèrie d’accions, algunes de les quals ja estan funcionant per iniciativa dels parcs i dels caçadors, que incorporaran totes tres entitats signants:

  • Informació anticipada a tots els usuaris de l’organització de les batudes
  • Senyalització dels accessos
  • Presència de personal informador
  • Divulgació a les xarxes socials
  • Planificació de les batudes fora dels llocs més concorreguts
  • Promoció de Bones Pràctiques de la caça
  • Dignificar les peces de caça i fomentar el component gastronòmic.

 

En els espais naturals protegits, conviuen una sèrie d’usos tant tradicionals com de nova creació. L’atractiu d’aquests ecosistemes que es troben en un grau de conservació superior atrau un nombre de visitants que durant alguns períodes i zones assoleix màxims que necessiten una regulació que els permeti ser compatibles amb la temporada de caça que va de setembre a març.

 

L’ús d’armes de foc obliga a extremar al màxim les condicions per evitar les greus conseqüències que poden esdevenir-se principalment quan altres activitats organitzades o lliures es realitzen alhora. Les persones caçadores conscients del perill que comporta un mal ús de les armes de foc ja adopten mesures de protecció per evitar accidents. La resta d’usuaris del medi natural han de conèixer la senyalització que els avisa d’una batuda i respectar-la per evitar accedir-hi. La informació prèvia mitjançant les pàgines web dels parcs naturals, els avisos als punts d’informació i les eines de les xarxes socials ajudaran a evitar aquestes situacions i a programar la visita per avançat.

 

La caça, una eina per controlar els senglars

La caça durant el període hàbil constitueix una de les eines fonamentals per controlar les poblacions d’espècies com el porc senglar que han esdevingut sobreabundants a moltes comarques de Catalunya i provoquen pèrdues econòmiques al sector primari i accidents de trànsit fins i tot amb víctimes mortals. La major part dels espais naturals protegits reuneixen les millors condicions ambientals, principalment els boscos que afavoreixen les poblacions de senglar. Realitzar les batudes en millors condicions permetrà un augment de la seva eficàcia i reduir-ne les poblacions en aquests llocs. La darrera temporada es van caçar fins a 63 mil senglars malgrat les mesures de restricció per la COVID19.

 

Aquestes mesures acordades per totes tres parts intentaran també que les batudes siguin respectades com una manera més de gaudir de la natura i com a eina de gestió de la fauna, que es desenvolupa a la major part de Catalunya mitjançant societats de caçadors locals. S’estima que a Catalunya es realitzen prop de 10 mil batudes cada temporada amb la participació de més de 20 caçadors per batuda i més de 20 gossos cadascuna.
