Acaba el primer curs de dones rurals per a pilotar drons d’agricultura de precisió

La Federación de Asociaciones de Mujeres Rurales (FADEMUR), ha format durant les últimes setmanes a la primera promoció de dones rurals pilots de drons per a l’agricultura de precisió, gràcies al finançament del Ministerio de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación.

El curs, en el que han participat una vintena de dones procedents de municipis rurals de tot el territori, va concloure el dijous passat amb una jornada pràctica de vol celebrada a l’aeròdrom de Camarenilla (Toledo).

A més a més, el llançament inicial del curs va tenir tan bona acollida (en un parell de dies es van rebre quasi 200 sol·licituds) que finalment FADEMUR ha decidit realitzar un esforç important per duplicar la seva oferta de vint a quaranta places. Les vint alumnes que no van realitzar la pràctica el dijous, la van fer el divendres al mateix lloc.

 

Agricultura de precisió

 

Al llarg de la formació, les participants no només han après a pilotar els aparells, també s’han iniciat en la interpretació i l’anàlisis dels indicadors agrícoles a partir d’imatges multiespectrals obtingudes amb equips RPAS.

“Reconèixer certes variants, interpretar-les i monitorar-les, ens permet conèixer en profunditat l’estat real dels cultius”, ha explicat una de les alumnes. “Així podem prendre les millors decisions, reduir els treballs i l’ús dels productes que el camp necessita. Estem desitjant posar-nos mans a l’obra i implementar aquestes tècniques als nostres pobles per ajudar a caminar cap a una manera de produir aliments cada vegada més sostenible”.

 

Aliances contra la desigualtat

 

Per a llençar aquest curs, FADEMUR ha comptat amb la col·laboració del projecte Aviadoras del Sindicato Español de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas (SEPLA) i l’empresa RPASCORSO. Formadores de les tres entitats es van desplaçar a Camarenillas junt amb les vint alumnes que esperen que “siguin la punta de llança que canviï el sexisme que existeix al món dels drons i el sector agrari”, han dit en referència a l’escàs nombre de dones pilotes d’aquests artefactes: 1%.

 

També hi han assistit les responsables de la formació proporcionada durant aquestes setmanes per FADEMUR, RPASCORSO i Aviadores, així com personal voluntari de PepsiCo. Aquesta darrera col·laboració s’emmarca en el suport de PepsiCo a la llançadora d’emprenedoria de FADEMUR Ruraltivity. Gràcies a aquest marc, que inclou un impuls financer, professionals de la companyia donen un suport solidari a les dones rurals, com ho ha fet avui la Procurement agro asst. Analyst de PepsiCo Mercedes Yartu, que s’ha encarregat personalment d’entrenar algunes de les alumnes.
