Nomenen a Joaquim Tosas el nou president de l’AECAVA

Joaquim Tosas ha estat nomenat nou president de l’Associació d’Elaboradors del Cava (AECAVA) en substitució de Damià Deàs, que va renunciar al càrrec el 20 d’octubre per afavorir la renovació al capdavant de la patronal coincidint amb la nova legislatura al Consell Regulador de la DO Cava. Tosas, llicenciat en Administració i Direcció d’Empreses per l’IQS de la Universitat Ramon Llull i en el Programa de Direcció General per l’IESE, és director general de Bodegues Sumarroca des de l’any 2020 i membre de la junta directiva d’AECAVA des del mateix any. El nou president ha recordat que el sector afronta un moment “clau” per al seu desenvolupament, que requereix “unitat, fermesa, consistència i constància”.

Joaquim Tosas, que assumeix la presidència de la patronal en ple desplegament del Pla Estratègic de la DO Cava, s’ha compromès a donar continuïtat a l'”excel·lent” feina realitzada per l’anterior presidència, incidint en la importància de la sostenibilitat social, mediambiental i econòmica del sector.

 

També s’ha marcat com a objectiu treballar de manera “unívoca i conjunta” atenent a la diversitat i legítims interessos de tots el que formem part d’AECAVA, així com vertebrar un diàleg conjunt i constructiu amb els altres actors del sector. Tot això, ha afegit, per fer del cava un “referent global”.
