JARC exigeix saber quan s’abonarà la bestreta dels ajuts directes de la PAC

Joves Agricultors i Ramaders de Catalunya (JARC) exigeix al Departament d’Acció Climàtica que concreti quan preveu abonar la bestreta dels ajuts directes de la Política Agrària Comuna (PAC), tenint en compte les dificultats que viu el sector agrari davant l’encariment dels costos de producció i la caiguda de collita en diferents sectors per afectacions climàtiques i meteorològiques. L’entitat ja va demanar a la conselleria que avancés el pagament, amb la bestreta màxima permesa legalment als aproximadament 31.000 beneficiaris dels ajuts directes de la PAC 2022 (prenent com a referència el nombre del 2021). A la vegada, JARC considera “inadmissible” que el Departament tampoc hagi posat en marxa la comissió de seguiment dels ajuts.

L’organització reclama que al Departament d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural que “demostri el seu compromís amb el sector agrari, i més tenint en compte que aquest any s’ha vist especialment castigat”. “Des del punt de vista econòmic, perquè ha patit problemes de liquiditat amb una important crisi de preus, agreujat per l’important augment de les matèries primeres i energia, a causa del conflicte bèl·lic d’Ucraïna”, afirmen des de JARC. Però a això, s’hi sumen afectacions climàtiques i meteorològiques adverses com ara gelades o sequera que estan patint els agricultors de Catalunya, afegeixen.

“L’avançament dels ajuts directes de la PAC és urgent per facilitar una liquiditat molt necessària als productors, en un moment excepcional”, assenyalen des de JARC. “Si l’Aragó, amb una complexitat superior pel que fa al nombre de beneficiaris, ha anunciat que ho farà la primera setmana de novembre, no existeix cap mena de justificació perquè Catalunya no concreti quan efectuarà els pagaments anticipats, que ja ha començat a transferir el Ministeri d’Agricultura, a través del FEGA, a les comunitats autònomes que ho han sol·licitat”, remarquen des de JARC.

 

El president nacional de JARC, Joan Carles Massot, considera aquesta falta de concreció d’Acció Climàtica “una manca de respecte cap al sector”. “Resulta totalment incomprensible, que any rere any, el Departament ajorni el pagament sota el pretext que necessita més temps per efectuar els controls, en comptes d’agilitzar-ho amb una bona previsió com fan altres comunitats”, afegeix Massot.
