Cinc joves reivindiquen l’accés a un habitatge assequible creant una cooperativa al Pallars

Finques que formen part del banc de terres que els socis de la cooperativa Copsant posen a disposició de petits productors o ramaders.

La dificultat d’accedir a la vivenda a un preu just ha portat a un grup de joves a crear una cooperativa d’habitatge en cessió d’ús a Balestui, al Pallars Sobirà. La casa que van adquirir per fer realitat aquest projecte anava unida a una sèrie de terres, i ara han decidit crear un banc de terres amb l’objectiu d’alliberar-les de la cooperativa per tal que petits productors les puguin treballar i així afavorir l’arrelament al territori. La Ivet, el Carlet, el Marc, la Noemí i el Jordi han apostat per viure en comunitat mentre reivindiquen l’accés a l’habitatge digne i assequible. El projecte porta per nom Copsant i també es pretén rehabilitar un paller per convertir-lo en un espai d’encontre comunitari.

Cinc joves que es volen instal·lar al Pallars

Actualment els socis de la cooperativa són cinc: Ivet Eroles, originària de la Noguera; Carlet Belmonte del Vallès Occidental; Marc Castro, del barri de Sants de Barcelona; Noemí Busquets de l’Alt Camp i Jordi Arévalo, de Girona. L’habitatge que han adquirit encara té espai per un sisè soci que és el que ara estan buscant per sumar-se al projecte.

 

Els habitants del poble de Balestui són els primers que han notat la instal·lació de la cooperativa al poble, fins ara hi vivien 12 habitats i de cop s’ha passat a 17. Arrelar als pobles petits i que no acabin despoblats també és un dels objectius d’aquest grup de joves.

El funcionament de Copsant

Hi ha diferents tipus de cooperatives d’habitatge i el model cooperatiu que han escollit a Copsant es basa en l’organització cooperativa i sense ànim de lucre per a proveir d’habitatge digne a un preu assequible a les persones sòcies que la conformen.

 

Són un model col·lectiu impulsat pels socis que permet desenvolupar projectes de convivència i treballar diferents iniciatives, basant-se en el benestar i cura de les persones i el medi ambient.

 

Carlet Belmonte, de Copsant, ha explicat que els socis tenen un contracte vital amb la cooperativa. Per ser soci i formar part de la cooperativa cal fer una aportació inicial. Això no obstant, si més endavant un soci decideix deixar Copsant, recuperaria l’aportació inicial i s’alliberaria el seu lloc perquè una altra persona interessada pugui ocupar aquest espai.

 

La Ivet, el Carlet i el Marc conviuen a la casa i en un espai annex hi viuen la Noemí i el Jordi amb la petita Elna de tot just quinze dies. A tocar de la casa hi ha una mena de paller que volen recuperar com a espai comunitari. Precisament aquest espai va ser el que va animar als cinc joves a presentar-se al programa Arrela’t.

Arrela’t a l’Alt Pirineu i Aran

El matchfunding Arrela’t a l’Alt Pirineu i Aran és una iniciativa pública que dona suport a projectes vinculats al territori. Cal tenir en compte que un matchfunding consisteix en el finançament col·lectiu de projectes que, a més d’obtenir les aportacions de persones a títol individual o grupal, també reben el suport econòmic d’una organització. Eroles ha animat a la gent a participar en aquesta campanya i fer les seves aportacions. A canvi rebran una recompensa.

 

Des de Copsant es planteja la rehabilitació del paller a partir de jornades participatives i formatives de treball col·laboratiu, per compartir sabers i enfortir vincles, per tal que el projecte sigui realment col·lectiu, al servei del territori i de la seva gent.

 

Aquest dimarts s’han activat les pàgines de la campanya a través de la plataforma de micromecenatge Goteo. I és que a part de Copsant, a l’Arrela’t 2022 hi participen cinc projectes més, un de cada comarca del territori de l’Alt Pirineu i Aran: Cultivar bolets per conrear futur a la comarca (Alt Urgell), Huma Slow Brothsa (Alta Ribagorça), Pla de millora per a la sostenibilitat del refugi de la Feixa (la Cerdanya), Consolidació de la xarxa de senders per la pràctica de la BTT (Pallars Jussà) i Husta Skis (Val d’Aran).

 

Banc de terres

La casa que han adquirit aquests cinc joves a Balestui es venia conjuntament amb unes 20 hectàrees de terres que, en comptes de ser un problema pels joves, han estat una oportunitat i amb elles han creat un banc de terres perquè petits productors o ramaders les puguin aprofitar.

 

Marc Castro ha explicat que des de Copsant han activat mecanismes per facilitar l’accés a la terra a projectes conscients i transformadors, de mirada agroecològica o regenerativa. A tall d’exemple mostra un petit ramat de vaques que ja pasturen a la finca de tocar del poble aplicant ramaderia regenerativa.

 

Castro parla de petits productors als qui els costa accedir a la terra, per l’especulació que és fa d’ella, i que Copsant els pot oferir: un productor agroalimentari, un apicultor o el ramader de producció regenerativa.

 

Aquests joves volen que més gent se sumi al projecte, ja que el format de cooperativa d’usuàries i consumidores permet que les noves persones sòcies que vagin entrant al projecte puguin dur a terme les seves iniciatives, ha sentenciat Castro.
