La connexió per satèl·lit arriba al Refugi de l’Artiga de Lin gràcies a l’impuls de l’estratègia Àrea 5G

Diverses autoritats a l'entorn del refugi d'Artiga de Lin, on s'ha inaugurat la connectivitat via satèl·lit per millorar la gestió del seu entorn d'alta muntanya.

La Mobile World Capital Barcelona (MWCapital), Hispasat, el Conselh Generau d’Aran i Arantec han presentat aquest dilluns el primer pilot en el marc de l’Àrea 5G Aran, el qual permet dotar de connexió al Refugi de l’Artiga de Lin a través de tecnologia del satèl·lit. El projecte ha comptat també amb el suport dels impulsors de l’estratègia Àrea 5G: Generalitat de Catalunya, Fundació i2Cat, IDAPA, Diputació de Lleida i Cambra del Comerç de Lleida. Es tracta del primer pas pel desplegament de connectivitat de banda ampla, el qual incidirà directament en la prestació de serveis com ara el control de ramaderia a la zona, la monitorització del clima i possibles allaus, la gestió d’itineraris turístics o les actuacions dels serveis d’emergències.

La síndica d’Aran, Maria Vergés, ha assegurat que estan “compromesos amb l’aposta per la innovació i la retenció del talent jove” i ha dit que tot plegat ho promouen a través del HUB d’innovació rural HèPic. “Celebrem poder dur a terme aquest projecte, que veiem com una gran oportunitat per al nostre territori i que ja treballem per poder aplicar en sectors clau com són la ramaderia, la gestió de les emergències o l’atenció a les persones, entre d’altres”, ha assegurat.

 

Durant la presentació, s’ha dut a terme una prova de la connexió per mitjà de la simulació d’una trucada d’emergència. Això ha permès establir una comunicació, tant per veu com per vídeo, amb la Sala de Control de Pompièrs-Emergéncies a Casau. En aquest sentit, gràcies a la connexió via satèl·lit que ofereix l’antena d’Hispasat, el gestor del refugi ha pogut comunicar-se amb Pompièrs-Emergéncies. Abans d’aquest desplegament, el lloc no comptava amb cobertura telefònica ni amb connexió a internet.

 

El refugi comptarà amb una instal·lació amb les següents característiques: Una ‘HotSpot Wifi’ dins de l’alberg que facilitarà la gestió de l’establiment i oferirà connexió als usuaris, una altra ‘HotSpot Wifi’ a l’àrea d’influència del refugi que permetrà establir un punt segur emergències i proporcionar connexió als excursionistes per consultar l’estat de les rutes, intèrfon i webcam amb connexió directa amb el número d’emergències 112 i, finalment, un punt d’accés de xarxa inalàmbrica LoRa, tecnologia que permet la connexió de sensors i d’altres dispositius amb un manteniment i despesa d’energia mínima, permetent així diverses funcionalitats de solucions IoT promogudes des del Conselh, com per exemple la monitorització del bestiar o de persones amb dispositius interactius LoRa.

 

El pilot és el resultat de l’acord signat entre MWCapital, Hispasat, Conselh Generau d’Aran i Arantec, en col·laboració amb la Generalitat de Catalunya, durant el Mobile World Congress 2022. Aquesta aliança és un compromís pel desplegament de tecnologia satel·litzada a zones d’alta muntanya i el desenvolupament de projectes pilot de connectivitat intel·ligent, aplicables a les particularitats del territori i a les seves necessitats.

 

A més, el projecte s’emmarca dins de l’estratègia Àrees 5G, iniciativa de la MWCapital, Generalitat de Catalunya i Fundació i2CAT, i més concretament dins de l’Àrea 5G Aran, on se sumen els socis locals Conselh Generau d’Aran, IDAPA, Diputació de Lleida i Cambra de Comerç de Lleida. Aquesta estratègia pretén accelerar sectors estratègics pel conjunt de Catalunya, com, per exemple, la mobilitat sostenible, la gestió ramadera i de l’entorn rural, la protecció del medi ambient i/o l’atracció del turisme de qualitat i esportiu en els entorns naturals.
