Recuperen el camí ramader de Santa Coloma de Queralt fins a Cunit convertint-lo en ruta turística

L’antic camí ramader que unia els 60 quilòmetres que hi ha de Santa Coloma de Queralt (Conca de Barberà) a Cunit (Baix Penedès) reneix aquest mes d’octubre transformat en ruta turística. És la iniciativa que ha posat en marxa l’ajuntament de Cunit en col·laboració amb els altres municipis de l’itinerari “per recuperar el passat i transformar-lo en un producte turístic de quilòmetre zero”. El proper dissabte 29 d’octubre s’ha organitzat una expedició que sortirà de Santa Coloma per arribar a la costa el dimarts 1 de novembre. Seran quatre dies de ruta a peu acompanyant un ramat i el seu pastor per tal de rememorar l’essència del camí centenari. El mateix dia 1 hi ha previstos tres grups que faran la ruta en bicicleta o bé un tram a peu.

“Volem desestacionalitzar el turisme i oferir un nou producte que interrelacioni l’interior i la costa”, explica l’alcalde de Cunit, Jaume Casañas, que veu en aquesta ruta l’ocasió de “fer un exercici de memòria històrica, d’antropologia i també de geografia”.

 

Casañas sosté que fer un itinerari turístic a través de la Carrerada de Santa Coloma “permet fer una mirada crítica cap a l’evolució de la societat”. “Fa 50 anys, si li haguéssim dit als nostres pagesos que desapareixerien, no s’ho haurien cregut”, ressalta, i insisteix que l’itinerari és una invitació a “reflexionar d’on venim i cap a on anem, sense perdre l’essència de la identitat del territori”.

Ramat d’ovelles que recorrerà el camí de la Carrerada de Santa Coloma per Tots Sants

Pel que fa a l’expedició del dia 29, hi ha previstes 50 places i la inscripció bàsica costa 75 euros que inclouen els àpats, avituallaments i trasllats de les tendes de campanya. Hi ha l’opció de pernoctar a allotjaments rurals pagant un suplement. De cara al dia 1, hi ha organitzades dues sortides en BTT: la primera traslladarà els participants a Santa Coloma en autobús per baixar pedalant fins a Cunit, mentre que la segona sortirà de Cunit per anar a Torrelles de Foix i tornar a la costa.

 

En paral·lel, el dia 1 hi haurà un altre grup que farà a peu la darrera part del Camí de la Carrerada, començant a l’Arboç. La previsió és que tots els grups conflueixin a Cunit amb una festa final.

 

L’alcalde cunitenc confia que l’activitat del pont de Tots Sants serà la “llavor” d’un projecte turístic que es consolidarà a la zona “i permetrà prendre consciència de l’evolució de l’agricultura i la ramaderia”. La previsió és senyalitzar el camí de forma no invasiva i potenciar-lo a través de mapes i fulletons turístics que es difondran als municipis que enllacen els dos extrems de la ruta.
