La Setmana Bio per l’alimentació ecològica està celebrant la seva desena edició

Del passat divendres 14 d’octubre a aquest dissabte 23 d’octubre se celebra la desena edició de la Setmana Bio per l’alimentació ecològica, un esdeveniment impulsat per la Generalitat de Catalunya i organitzat pel Departament d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural.

Divendres va començar la Setmana Bio, durant la qual tot un seguit d’empreses i entitats involucrades en la producció i l’alimentació ecològiques tenen un programa d’activitats variades pensades per donar-se a conèixer i donar a conèixer les bondats d’aquest sistema de producció i dels productes i aliments ecològics entre la població, sempre dins de l’objectiu global d’informar i difondre la producció i alimentació ecològiques.

 

Com ja ha estat habitual en les darreres edicions, aquestes activitats s’agrupen en cinc famílies: visites a operadors ecològics, activitats divulgatives, propostes comercials, gastronomia i un seguit d’activitats orientades als escolars, en el marc de la Setmana Bio a l’escola.

 

Així doncs, entitats i organitzacions interessades, administracions locals, escoles i centres docents, biblioteques, centres cívics, restaurants, minoristes, grans superfícies, etc. ofereixen activitats que es poden consultar al web d’aquest esdeveniment, setmanabio.cat, on també es pot trobar una caixa de recursos en línia que permeten conèixer la producció i l’alimentació ecològiques sense sortir de casa, a través de vídeos i altres materials d’interès, com ara l’àlbum infantil Del camp a la cuina, on els més menuts poden endinsar-se en l’aventura de la producció ecològica a través d’un joc interactiu que els apropa al món de la pagesia i la producció dels aliments.

Propostes arreu de Catalunya

Entre les més de 250 activitats presencials que s’ofereixen repartides per tot el territori, podem citar-ne alguns exemples:

 

A Barcelona podem conèixer el treball de les cooperatives d’agroecologia de Collserola, o conèixer els misteris de l’hort i la granja de Can Mestres en una visita guiada dinamitzada amb jocs infantils per l’hort i la granja de la masia de Can Mestres a Barcelona, reducte històric de la pagesia que hi va haver a la ciutat de Barcelona, reconvertida en una granja urbana i horts ecològics de la Xarxa Municipal de la Catalunya Central. També podem visitar diversos cellers, com ara una visita emblemàtica a les vinyes, celler i caves d’Alta Alella, amb un tast a la terrassa mirador amb vistes a la costa del Maresme.

 

A Girona, a més d’anar a la fira de Sant Galderic, de Bellcaire d’Empordà, trobem diverses propostes que ens permetran visitar diversos horts ecològics, com els d’Eco-Brot, de Sant Gregori, l’hort ecosolidari de la Universitat de Girona, els horts comunitaris ecològics de Castelló d’Empúries, o els horts municipals de Mas Cabanyes, a Sant Feliu de Guíxols, on es celebrarà una jornada d’intercanvi de llavors obert a tots els hortolans interessats a intercanviar les seves llavors.

 

A Lleida podem visitar les instal·lacions cerveseres de la cooperativa Lo Vilot Farm Brewery, d’Almacelles, que inclou la degustació de sis varietats de cervesa maridades amb sis tapes de productes locals, visitar la Mostra de maquinària per a horticultura ecològica, organitzada per l’Ajuntament de Lleida, o anar a conèixer l’explotació de producció ecològica de corder i vedella Masia Tomaso d’Àger, organitzada per l’Escola Agrària Vallfogona de Balaguer.

 

A Tarragona es pot participar en la collita de l’oliva i l’elaboració de l’oli ecològic i biodinàmic d’Oli Cometes, a la Pobla de Cérvoles, o visitar la 7a edició de l’EcoFira del Camp de Tarragona, que se celebra a Valls en el marc de la Setmana Bio, on les productores i elaboradores agroecològiques i de proximitat que formen part del grup de consum La Bajoca presentaran els seus projectes i oferiran tastos i venda directa dels seus productes que es poden trobar al grup de consum, amb el paper de la dona com a eix central de la fira.

 

A més d’aquestes i moltes altres propostes que us esperen durant els propers dies, i també dins del context de la Setmana Bio, el proper dia 21 d’octubre, a les 12 hores, a l’Escola Finestres de Mieres es farà l’acte de lliurament dels guardons del Premi Escola, Agricultura i Alimentació Ecològiques, on es donaran a conèixer els premiats d’aquesta desena edició, a l’entorn d’aquesta escola que va rebre el primer premi l’any passat i que acollirà els professors i alumnes que resultaran premiats enguany.
