El restaurant l’Espurna de Lleida presenta una carta amb 50 vins de la DO Costers del Segre

El restaurant l’Espurna ha presentat aquest dijous passat una carta amb més de 50 vins d’una trentena de cellers de la DO Costers del Segre. Elaborada pel consultor de comunicació enogastronòmica Como Pomona, recull vins escumosos, blancs joves i de criança, rosats, negres joves i de criança, així com dolços. El president de la DO, Tomàs Cusiné, ha apadrinat la iniciativa pel fet que suposa pels cellers de Costers del Segre i el suport a la restauració local. La carta vol reivindicar els vins locals, que protagonitzen més de la meitat de la proposta global, que compta amb un total de 110 referències. Així, també hi ha vins de la resta de Catalunya, i zones significatives d’Espanya i el món.

El periodista i sommelier Rafa Gimena ha destacat la “gran varietat” de la DO Costers del Segre, així com la seva “riquesa potenciada” pels diferents terrers que acullen les set subzones, el gran patrimoni de varietats de raïm blanques i negres, i el mestissatge de cultura vitícola i enològica dels seus viticultors i cellers.

Les subzones de Raimat i Urgell són presents amb vins de Raimat i Castell del Remei, Lagravera d’Alfarràs i el Celler Sanuy. També hi ha Analec, L’Olivera, Cercavins, Comalats, Antoni Giribet, i Monestir del Tallat, que són els sellers de la subzona Vall de Riu Corb.

 

La subzona Pallars està representada per vins de Castell d’Encús, Terrer de Pallars, Batlliu de Sort, El Vinyer, Vila Corona i Cota 730.

 

De la subzona Garrigues hi ha Matallonga, Torres, Clos Pons, Tomàs Cusiné, Cérvoles, Mas Blanch i Jové, i Vinya els Vilars. D’altra banda, de la subzona Artesa de Segre s’hi troben Costers del Sió, Vall de Baldomar, Mas Ramoneda i Celler Montsec.

A més dels vins de Costers del Segre, la carta de L’Espurna també inclou altres vins de la demarcació de Lleida que s’elaboren en zones que estan fora d’aquesta denominació com és el cas dels vins de la Cerdanya lleidatana de Costers de Cerdanya –  Gramona, a Riu de Cerdanya, o Cal Mandrat, a Montellà i Martinet. El Pirene de Torres, monovarietal d’aquesta varietat de raïm encara en procés d’entrar a la DO, o els xarel·los de Rubió de Sol (la Noguera), són altres exemples.
