La Festa del Vi de Gandesa obre la participació a tots els cellers en la celebració de la 35a edició

La Festa del Vi de Gandesa celebra enguany la 35a edició, una destacada efemèride en què els organitzadors, l’Ajuntament, el Celler Cooperatiu i la Societat Unió Gandesana, han decidit “obrir la participació” a tots els cellers de la comarca, inscrits o no a la DO Terra Alta. Es fa, com ha defensat l’alcalde de Gandesa, Carles Luz, “per treballar pel bé del món del vi”. L’any passat, en un context de restriccions per la covid, van passar per la fira prop de 3.000 persones i es van repartir 14.500 degustacions. Els organitzadors mantenen els actes emblema. L’Antic Molí servirà l’àpat de la Nit de les Garnatxes, i Vadevi i els premis Vinari s’encarregaran del concurs, que té inscripció gratuïta. La mostra de vins estrena una Gastroàrea.

L’alcalde de Gandesa ha defensat que la Fira del Vi, que compleix 35 edicions, s’ha consolidat i demostrat com el “projecte de dinamització del vi de la Terra Alta” i que per aquest motiu ha d’anar en la direcció “de tenir mirada àmplia” i “donar cobertura a tots els vins de la comarca”. Una de les novetats enguany, com ha remarcat Carles Luz, és que la Mostra de Vins “s’obre” per acollir tots els cellers terraltins, amb independència de la seua adscripció a la DO i d’on estiguin ubicats. “És la línia en la qual volem treballar la comissió –organitzadora-“, ha dit el batlle.

 

La DO Terra Alta hi serà. Luz s’ha mostrat convençut que col·laborarà com fins ara en la Fira. “Em consta que volen participar i explicaran de quina forma, però és veritat que en aquesta nova edició hem valorat obrir de bat a bat la Terra Alta”. L’alcalde no descarta que el Consell Regulador s’encarregui d’organitzar les jornades tècniques, que han celebrat en les últimes edicions.

 

Més novetats

La Mostra de Vi també estrenarà una Gastroàrea on diferents establiments de restauració de Gandesa, i d’altres municipis de la comarca, oferiran tapes, o ‘punxades’ com es diuen a la comarca, i plats elaborats amb productes de km0.

 

La Fira se celebrarà els dies 4, 5 i 6 de novembre, amb la Mostra de Vins a la Rambla Catalunya que inaugurarà divendres la prestigiosa sommelier i comunicadora Meritxell Falgueras, guardonada com a Millor Sommelier el 2011, ‘Náriz de oro’ de Catalunya el 2006 i amb el millor blog de vins dels Gourmand Awards el 2019.

 

També divendres, a la nit, es farà la 15a Nit de les Garnatxes, un maridatge de tots els vins terraltins en un sopar servit pel restaurant amb estrella Michelin d’Ulldecona, l’Antic Molí. La setmana abans es posaran a la venda les entrades, unes 400 a un preu de 60 euros, que se solen esgotar en un poques hores.

 

El president de la Cooperativa de Gandesa, Pere Bové, ha remarcat que la Fira de Gandesa és la festa on els pagesos celebren l’esforç i els resultats de l’anyada. “Quan arriba, ens refem i donem tot el que podem perquè la gent se senti molt a gust a Gandesa”, ha dit. “La mostra de vins, per a la majoria dels cellers, és un aparador per ensenyar, amb il·lusió, la feina feta al món “.

 

Nous productes i nou públic

La Cooperativa de Gandesa presentarà a la Fira del Vi de Gandesa el nou vermut elaborat per la bartender Mariona Vilanova, un producte pensat per fer combinats que no existeix al mercat. L’auge del vermut i també dels vins ancestrals vol captivar el públic més jove. Per aquest motiu, el Concurs de Vins, en el qual la inscripció enguany és gratuïta, inclourà la categoria de vins ancestrals. Aquests vins no estan adscrit a la DO, però ja en destaquen moltes referències als cellers de la Terra Alta. Són vins de fermentació única però feta amb dues fases, amb una primera part en un dipòsit i que acaba dins de l’ampolla. El resultat és el d’un vi espumós, fresc, afruitat i de colors habitualment molt vius i atractius.

 

El concurs es farà sota la direcció tècnica del mitjà de comunicació especialitzat en el món del vi, VadeVi, i els reconeguts Premis Vinari. S’atorgaran tres premis també en les categories de blancs joves, blancs criança, negres joves, negres criança, rosats i dolços, rancis i vins de postres. Com ha explicat el director de Vadevi, Ramon Roset, el tast el faran una vintena de sommeliers, enòlegs i periodistes especialitzats, divendres al matí, en un tast totalment a cegues on puntuaran els vins. El tast classificatori es farà al Palau del Castellà de Gandesa i estarà obert al públic.
