Lloret de Mar impulsarà el plogging en un congrés que es celebrarà el 7 i 8 d’octubre a la ciutat

Lloret de Mar (Selva) es convertirà aquest octubre en la capital del ‘plogging’, un moviment que vincula la pràctica esportiva amb la recollida de residus a l’entorn natural. En aquest congrés que es farà entre el 7 i el 8 d’octubre hi haurà diverses taules rodones on les entitats podran intercanviar experiències relacionades amb el moviment. Un dels participants del congrés internacional serà Erik Alhström, el fundador del ‘plogging’. De cara al 8 d’octubre es farà una jornada de ‘plogging’ a la platja de Fenals de Lloret de Mar on hi participaran diverses entitats i centres educatius de Lloret de Mar i d’altres punts del territori. En paral·lel, també es faran recollides de forma simultània a 17 països.

Dins de l’aposta per un turisme sostenible, Lloret de Mar acollirà el congrés internacional de ‘plogging’ aquesta tardor. Serà un esdeveniment que es farà entre el divendres 7 i el dissabte 8 d’octubre i comptarà amb diverses taules rodones on hi participaran entitats, empreses i joves que estan involucrats amb la sostenibilitat. També hi participaran experts en la matèria, entre ells el fundador del ‘plogging’, Erik Alhström. El congrés està impulsat per la Cooperativa Mar de Dones i la Fundació Climent Guitart i compta amb el suport de l’Ajuntament de Lloret de Mar i el Club Esportiu de Mossos d’Esquadra.

 

L’acte estrella de l’esdeveniment serà el dissabte 8 d’octubre, quan es farà el ‘plogging day’. A Lloret de Mar es farà una neteja de la platja Fenals on hi col·laboraran entitats i centres educatius del municipi i també altres alumnes de les escoles Vedruna i membres del Club Esportiu dels Mossos d’Esquadra.

 

En paral·lel al ‘plogging’ que es farà a Lloret de Mar, també hi haurà 17 països que organitzaran activitats per celebrar el dia. Hi participaran associacions de Lituània, Espanya, Mèxic, Colòmbia, Xile, Argentina, Croàcia, Brasil, Armènia, Suècia, Rússia, Portugal, Estats Units, Nigèria, Itàlia i Alemanya.

 

La presidenta de la cooperativa Mar de Dones ha animat a la gent a participar en aquest moviment i ha remarcat que molts dels que hi participen asseguren que “els ha canviar la vida” perquè es pren molta més consciència de la fragilitat del litoral. A més, també ha destacat que molta gent desconeix tots els residus que acaben al fons del mar fins que no comencen a practicar el ‘plogging’.
