Ponent i Alt Pirineu i Aran superen les xifres pre-pandèmia de pernoctacions en hotels

Les comarques de Ponent i l’Alt Pirineu i Aran han superat la xifra de pernoctacions en hotels d’abans de la pandèmia. Segons dades de l’Institut Nacional d’Estadística (INE) hi ha hagut un 3,92% més de pernoctacions que al juliol de 2019 i un 5,78% més que al 2021. En total s’han registrat 215.900 pernoctacions el mes passat que han generat uns 91.000 viatgers. Aquests cauen una mica respecte al 2019 però que incrementin les estades als hotels significa, segons el responsable de màrqueting del Patronat de Turisme de la Diputació de Lleida, Juli Alegre, que hi ha un “canvi de tendència” i els viatgers fan estades més llargues. El sector ha mantingut preus per continuar sent competitiu en un “estiu atípic” per la guerra i altres factors.

Una altra de les dades rellevants que es desprèn de l’informe de l’INE és que la demarcació ha recuperat al juliol el turisme estranger amb un total de 38.800 visitants, més que abans de la pandèmia, quan se’n van registrar 36.000. Juli Alegre ha destacat que el turisme internacional va ser el primer en “caure en picat” quan va esclatar la pandèmia però ara ja poden anunciar que s’ha recuperat i fins i tot millorat.

 

El Patronat considera que són unes xifres molt bones i ara s’està a l’espera de veure l’evolució d’altres sectors com el turisme rural i els càmpings que en breu es donaran a conèixer. En aquest sentit, Alegre ha recordat que a principis de temporada ja van preveureu que les xifres s’aproximarien a les de l’any passat, considerada com la millor temporada turística de la història. Ha remarcat que s’està treballant per “dinamitzar el territori” i que es constata una “total i absoluta normalitat”.

Al juliol hi ha hagut un 0,8% més de viatgers que al mateix mes de l’any passat però un 4,4% menys que al 2019. Això significa que ha vingut menys gent però que han allargat les estades en hotels.

 

Alegre ha assenyalat que l’estiu està sent atípic per la guerra a Ucraïna, la inflació i la pujada de preus i combustibles. Tot i això, ha destacat que el sector turístic lleidatà no ha fet una repercussió total de l’increment i han assumit en part els preus. “S’ha fet un sacrifici per continuar sent competitius”, ha apuntat el responsable del Patronat de Turisme.

 

Juli Alegre si que ha lamentat per això, els efectes de la sequera, que en determinades activitats ha tingut una afectació important com és el cas de l’entorn del congost de Mont Rebei, on no s’han pogut fer excursions aquàtiques per la falta d’aigua i les empreses s’han hagut de reinventar oferint excursions a peu.
