Tocs de Vi de la DO Empordà recupera la presencialitat la setmana del 24 al 29 de maig

Tocs de Vi recupera el format habitual i oferirà una extensa programació del 24 al 29 de maig amb una quinzena de tastos singulars -amb el Refugi Antiaeri del Jardi com a novetat- i tres dies de fira enogatronòmica a la plaça Independència. En total, hi participaran una dotzena de cellers de la DO Empordà i una desena de restauradors. Durant els tres dies, en aquest espai s’hi oferiran vins i tapes, des de les sis de la tarda fins a les onze de la nit, excepte el diumenge, que tancarà a les deu.

“L’Ajuntament de Girona té sempre la voluntat de col·laborar amb aquelles iniciatives i actuacions destinades a la promoció i la difusió dels productes gastronòmics locals i de la demarcació de Girona, amb l’objectiu de promocionar els productes del territori i consolidar l’activitat econòmica”, assegura la regidora Glòria Plana Yanes.

 

Per la seva banda, el president de la Comissió de Promoció del Consell Regulador de la DO Empordà, Carles Xuriguera, ha posat en valor que es recuperi l’esdeveniment en el seu format habitual i ha dit que els cellers estan “molt emocionats”.

 

La fira també programa aquest any quinze tastos de vins empordanesos en espais emblemàtics de la ciutat. Per primer cop s’incorpora el Refugi Antiaeri del Jardí de la Infància com a nou espai emblemàtic. Aquest tast es completarà amb l’experiència d’un simulacre d’atac aeri i la projecció de l’audiovisual ‘Amagats sota terra’. La recaptació dels tastos realitzats al refugi antiaeri es destinarà a ajuda humanitària per al poble ucraïnès.

 

Un altre dels nous espais que s’incorporen a la programació d’enguany és el pati interior de la botiga Zeppelin. En aquest lloc, a banda del tast, els participants també gaudiran d’una visita guiada a l’exposició sobre els 25 anys del Catan. A banda de les noves localitzacions, Tocs de Vi de l’Empordà a Girona ofereix tastos en espais habituals, com els Banys Àrabs, el claustre del monestir de Sant Pere de Galligants, la Casa Masó, el Museu d’Art de Girona o la torre del General Peralta de la Muralla, entre altres.

 

Així mateix, també s’han programat dues sessions de la proposta ‘Els vins de la Girona desconeguda’ el divendres 27 de maig i el dissabte 28 de maig, amb un itinerari pel Barri Vell que permet redescobrir la Girona amagada a través de la DO Empordà i l’arqueològica, sommelier i membre de Glops d’Història, Romina Ribera.

 

L’organització espera recuperar les reeixides xifres de participació d’abans de la pandèmia amb més de 10.000 participants i 50.000 degustacions entre vins i tapes.

 

Tocs de Vi de l’Empordà a Girona està organitzat per la DO Empordà i l’Associació de Bars i Restaurants de la Plaça de la Independència de Girona i compta amb la col·laboració de l’Ajuntament de Girona, i el Fons Europeu de Desenvolupament Rural i el Departament d’Agricultura, Alimentació i Acció Rural.
