Ripoll ja està a punt per la Festa nacional de la llana i el casament a pagès

La tradició esdevindrà festa, aquest diumenge, a Ripoll. El Centre d’Iniciatives i Turisme de Ripoll ho té tot a punt per a la Festa nacional de la llana i el casament a pagès. És un esdeveniment únic al món, festa d’interès turístic nacional que, des del 1967, mostra de manera lúdica però fidedigna com era l’ofici dels pastors, els treballs que s’hi relacionaven així com la recreació d’unes noces camperoles tal com es feien al Ripollès entorn del segle XVIII.

Aquest any la celebració arriba amb diverses novetats. La principal i més vistosa és el canvi de la casa del balcó de la qual sortirà la núvia a saludar el nuvi, quan aquest acabi d’arribar amb tot el seguici provinent del seu domicili, al carrer dels Ferroviaris. Serà a la finca de Can Vaquer, una autèntica casa pairal de la vila. En aquest espai és on també es faran els balls tradicionals dels Tonedors i de l’Eudald i la Maria.

 

Amb tot, la plaça de Sant Eudald no deixarà de ser un indret especial d’aquesta jornada. Allà s’hi trobarà una mostra d’oficis tradicionals. Allà, s’hi podrà veure com treballen un ferrer, un boter, artesans de la fusta o un expert en el treball amb cuir. A més, en aquesta edició se suma un taller de sabons amb llana a la proposta.

 

Una activitat que no s’altera és l’esmorzar de pastor que, en aquesta ocasió, se celebrarà a la plaça Abat Oliba. Començarà a les vuit del matí. A més, també hi haurà activitats paral·leles com l’exposició anual del Cercle filatèlic i numismàtic de Ripoll, ubicada a la sala Abat Senjust. A la plaça Abat Oliba també hi haurà parades de productes alimentaris i es podrà participar en un taller dirigit a infants d’entre 3 i 14 anys per elaborar el seu propi mató.

 

Paral·lelament a la comitiva dels nuvis, que començarà a les deu del matí i es preveu que arribi a les dotze del migdia dins del monestir per començar la cerimònia d’enllaç, es durà a terme el 16è Concurs d’esquilar ovelles. L’activitat començarà a tres quarts de deu del matí amb l’arribada del ramat, mentre que la competició arrencarà una hora més tard. El lliurament de premis es durà a terme a la una del migdia. En aquesta hora serà quan els nuvis s’afegiran a l’activitat, amb el convit a base de coca, llonganissa i vi amb porró. Una mica abans, a les
12, es podrà fruir amb la mostra del contrapàs de Ripoll. Es tracta de la forma de dansa catalana documentada més antiga, la primera referència de la qual data del segle XV. Es considera que la sardana, de fet, té l’origen en el contrapàs.

 

Tal com s’ha esdevingut els darrers anys, l’enllaç nupcial aquesta vegada també serà real. La parella la formen Isabel Córdoba Rodríguez i Manel Vigara i Ardanaz. El casament, en tant que és real, també té padrins. Enguany serà la parella composta per la consellera Teresa Jordà i l’artista Lo Pau de Ponts. Seran uns padrins d’excepció per la parella protagonista del casament d’enguany.

 

Per segon any, la gastronomia de la capital del Ripollès també serà protagonista de la Festa de la Llana i el Casament a Pagès. Diversos establiments restauradors de Ripoll s’han adherit a la proposta del menú del xai, per reivindicar la tradició ramadera de la comarca, la nostra gastronomia i el receptari tradicional, fent de la carn de xai la protagonista. Els restaurants incorporaran en la carta plats fets amb xai. Com a identificació, tots els establiments disposaran d’una mateixa carta, la qual assenyala que proposen ‘El menú del xai’.

 

EL CIT

El Centre d’iniciatives i Turisme de Ripoll es va fundar el 1966. Té per objectiu promoure i donar a conèixer els valors tradicionals, així com els costums locals i comarcals amb la finalitat de preservar la identitat col·lectiva i donar a conèixer el vessant historicocultural del nostre país. Tot plegat, en col·laboració amb les institucions públiques i privades.

 

És en aquest marc que el CIT organitza l’elecció i la proclamació del pubillatge de Ripoll i organitza la Festa nacional de la llana i casament a pagès. Sens dubte, es tracten de dos símbols que han esdevingut emblemes de la vila tant portes endins entre els ripollesos i ripolleses, com als ulls de la resta de catalans i forans.
